Terms of Use

Effective October 21, 2026 • Version 2026-10-21

These Terms of Use govern your use of Parentice’s app and website and form an agreement with the operator of Parentice ("Parentice," "we," "us" or "our"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms of Use. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-information handling. Consent to share data with AI is requested separately.

1. What Parentice provides

Parentice is an AI-powered parenting practice app for parents and caregivers. It combines written practice scenarios with AI-supported recommendations, interpretation, conversations and reflections. Goose characters represent a practice situation. They are fictional simulations, not a prediction of how your child will behave or an assessment of your child.

The service is intended for caregivers who can legally enter this agreement, not for children to use as an AI companion. You must have authority to provide information about your family or other people. You are responsible for protecting your account access and for using the service lawfully.

2. AI limitations and your judgment

AI-generated content may be incorrect, incomplete, inconsistent, biased, outdated or unsuitable for your family, even when it sounds confident. It can misunderstand messages, context, family circumstances and a child’s needs. Outputs may differ between requests or resemble outputs provided to other users. Parentice does not guarantee a particular parenting outcome, improved behavior or a child’s response.

Use your own judgment, verify important information and consider the child’s age, development and immediate circumstances before acting. You remain responsible for real-world decisions and supervision. Do not treat an AI response, generated summary or saved memory as an authoritative record or professional conclusion.

3. Educational support, not professional or emergency care

Parentice provides general educational practice. It is not a medical device, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, mental-health service or substitute for a qualified professional. Content is not clinically reviewed. The app does not monitor your family, guarantee that it will detect danger, or contact emergency responders for you.

For health, developmental or behavioral concerns, consult your pediatrician or another qualified professional. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911 in the United States or your local emergency number. Do not wait for an app response or support email.

4. AI data permission

AI features rely on OpenAI and require online processing of relevant information, as described in the Privacy Policy and in-app AI notice. You may decline or withdraw permission in Settings → AI data use. Features requiring that sharing cannot operate without permission. Withdrawal stops future sharing but does not automatically undo earlier processing or delete retained records.

5. Your content and feedback photos

You retain your rights in the content you provide. You give Parentice limited permission to process it as necessary to provide the features you request, handle support, protect the service and comply with law, consistent with the Privacy Policy. This is not a transfer of ownership. Do not submit material that infringes another person’s rights or that you lack authority to share.

Feedback photos will not be used to train or fine-tune AI models, whether for Parentice or third parties. A feedback attachment is supplied to help us understand and address the reported issue. This limited permission does not include AI training. Chats are not automatically included with feedback.

You may use responses and saved plans for your personal parenting practice, subject to applicable law and third-party rights. We do not promise that generated content is unique, copyrightable or free of third-party rights.

6. Appropriate use

Do not use Parentice for illegal activity, child exploitation, abuse, harassment or violations of another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights. Do not seek unauthorized access, disrupt the service or bypass its security or usage controls. Reporting an unsafe or inaccurate AI response is welcome; describing a difficult parenting experience for help is not, by itself, misuse.

7. Subscriptions and purchases

Where paid plans are offered, the app and Apple purchase screen show the current price, billing period, benefits, usage allowances and any eligible trial before purchase. The website does not quote prices. Access and AI usage are subject to the plan and allowances actually shown; a subscription does not imply unlimited AI usage.

App Store subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled under Apple’s purchase terms. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of a trial to avoid a trial conversion charge. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app, deleting local data, signing out or withdrawing AI permission does not cancel an Apple subscription. Restoration is available through the app’s Restore purchases control for eligible purchases.

Apple processes billing and refund requests, subject to its policies and your statutory rights. See Apple’s cancellation instructions and request a refund from Apple. Nothing here removes a nonwaivable right to a refund or other remedy.

8. Availability and ending use

Network access, provider availability, device compatibility and usage limits can affect the service. Parentice may contain errors or become temporarily unavailable. You may stop using it at any time. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, a material breach or a security risk, subject to applicable law. Any material service or terms changes will receive notice where required. Ending access does not by itself cancel an App Store subscription or erase all records. Deleting local data removes the app’s local records but does not delete your server account or uploaded feedback. You can request deletion of your server account in Settings → Account. Account deletion is subject to the record-retention exceptions described in the Privacy Policy; contact us for other remote-data deletion requests. Use Apple’s subscription controls to cancel a subscription.

9. Parentice materials

The Parentice name, software, authored exercises, design and illustrations belong to their respective owners or licensors. Permission to use the service does not transfer those rights. Rights in your own submitted content remain yours.

10. Apple license and service terms

The iPhone app’s license is governed by the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), unless a valid custom license is specified for your download. These Parentice service terms supplement the applicable app license for service use, AI features and support; they do not replace the Apple EULA.

Apple is not the provider of Parentice’s parenting content or AI service. Apple purchases and platform services are also governed by the applicable Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

11. Warranties, responsibility and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee that AI output is accurate, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular decision. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms do not require you to waive a mandatory legal remedy.

12. Changes to these terms

Updates will identify a new version and effective date. We will provide notice of material changes and request acceptance where required. Changes will not retroactively grant new rights to use previously submitted feedback photos for AI training.

13. Contact and reports

For questions, support, inaccurate or unsafe AI responses, content reports or privacy requests, email contact@fastnfreshpty.com. Include “Parentice” in the subject. Support is not an emergency service.
